CGGC pastors currently have access to more than 20,000 bible studies through an online service called Rightnow Media. In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, the CGGC was determined to find a new, highly accessible way to provide devotional and training materials for pastors. Rightnow Media offered that and more during a time when churches were struggling with the lockdowns, quarantines, and safe distancing. The service's immediacy and accessibility came at the right time.
Not only are there a tremendous amount of Bible studies, but there are practical series for building skills like leadership, managing church staff, missional living, running small groups, mentoring and counseling, budget and financing, and much more. Because Rightnow Media has invested in Christian thought leaders and proven pastors and theologians, our pastors can have confidence that they have access to high quality content.
While the CGGC’s membership is only for the pastors, churches who want to sign up their whole congregation get a discount for being apart of the CGGC. And we’ve heard from a number of our pastors about how they’re using the service in their own church. Outside of Bible studies and small groups, Rightnow Media even has a plethora of children's cartoons and kid friendly content, picked and created with biblical principles in mind. Some pastors use the Rightnow Media app as a biblical alternative to popular streaming services like Netflix or Disney+.
Rightnow Media’s content library is more than just videos too. Many of the bible studies come with study materials that can be downloaded, test and quizzes, and slide presentations. If a church is looking to run Bible studies online, Rightnow Media has the ability to allow users to watch videos together even if they are separated by distance using the watch party feature.
