SOW for the Future of our Fields

26Apr

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity to plant seeds that will blossom in multiple international fields. Will you join us to SOW seeds for the future of our international fields?

Give Now

Spring is in the air and the CGGC has international leaders working their fields on mission, preaching Jesus, raising up leaders, and helping the sick and needy. The greatest blessing of my job is to work alongside these international field leaders. Getting to speak with them on the phone, interview them over Zoom, and meet them on their home turf has been the highlight of my time in this position. In the midst of the religious apathy of the United States, they are a relentless encouragement to me and have often help bring clarity to our mission and vision as a body of believers working together for Christ. Plus, they make my job easy because they always have powerful stories to share.

Our field leaders, who are all local people from their respective countries like Brazil, Kenya, and Nicaragua, work tirelessly to bring people to Christ. They oversee churches and pastors, sometimes hundreds of pastors, offering wisdom and guidance, while they navigate complex relationships with local cultures and governments. Many also oversee auxiliary organizations like schools and hospitals, hiring staff, working with leadership, and stewarding finances. For many of our field leaders, it is a herculean challenge that tests their faith daily, and they do so without complaint, and most often without the financial support that people in the United States would expect.

The following field leader accounts are in need of support due to additional staffing needs and/or additional projects:

Each of these fields are well positioned to keep growing, and we have confidence in their excellent leadership. Now, we need to see these field leaders sufficiently supported so they can continue tending to the harvest that the Lord has provided for them. Your donation will plant seeds of blessing in 5 fields where 8 leaders are in need. Will you partner with us to sow seeds of support for the future of our international field leaders?

You can find more information about each of these fields at the links above.

Share the Blessing Update

We are also excited to announce that our winter giving campaign called “Share the Blessing” was a success. Thank you for your generosity! In February we announced that 2 of the 3 giving requests were met, and just recently the 3rd and final request has also met it’s goal. That means that your generosity has seen life changing medical equipment, a new van for our missions, and two new church builds all be fully funded. We can’t wait to share more details with you as each of these three needs come to fruition. You can read more about our completed Share the Blessing goals here: Share the Blessing

*We have kept these two Asia fields anonymous to protect them from outside scrutiny.
